So you are finally ready to take the step and submit your music huh? Good for you! We are here to help make sure that your music is played on our station. But before you shoot us an email lets go over some FAQs.

Q1. Do I have to pay to be on this station?

A1: Absolutely NOT!! Your music will be played free of charge on our station.

Q2. Will RGV Titan Radio pay me royalties for playing my music?

A2: As much as we would like to we cannot pay you royalties for your music.

Q3. What!? No royalties?!? Then what's the point?

A3: Well think of it this way. We are providing a way for your music to be on a radio station playlist for free. Meaning we are providing a way for your music to heard by new people and also providing a new way for your fans to find you on the internet. Each band will be asked to provide us with several tools to get them linked up to listeners. i.e. a link to your website, a link to your MySpace or Facebook, a biography, and a list of places you will be playing live. Also we can update listeners on your upcoming events like recording a new demo or adding new band members.

Q4. I am just a one man band...Will my music fit on this station?

A4: Of course! We are not here to discriminate the way you make your music. If every part of your music is from your brain then by all means send us your music. Don't be shy we are not here to judge. All music will be treated equally no matter if it comes from one person or comes from a band.

Q5. Do I need to copyright my material?

A5: We are advising everyone to have some sort of copyright over their music. Although when the radio station is launched listeners will not have a way to steal your music from our site, but there is still a chance that they will find a way. We want to make sure that your music is protected from those dam dirty thieves.

Q6: My music is not copyrighted, can you provide one to me?

A6: Well we can't sale you a copyright but we can certainly point you in the right direction so you can obtain one. Again we do not want someone to steal your music so a copyright would be the best route.

Q7: Are we going to have to sign some kind of agreement to have our music played?

A7: Yes. As a matter of formality every band or musician that submits music will have to sign an agreement.

Q8: You mean a contract?!? I am not comfortable signing a contract dealing with my music. What is the agreement for?

A8: Our agreement states that we don't own your music. Meaning we can't take your music and sale it to anyone else. The agreement also states that you are giving us the right to play your music (which is what you want) and that all copyright matters dealing with your music will be solely up to you.

Q9: Ok so let's say our band gets signed what happens to our music on your station?

A9: First off if you get signed congratulations! At anytime you can ask us to take your music off our playlists. Just don't forget about us little guys when you make it big.
